Perspectives: Summer Undergraduate Research Awardees

Please join the Department of Studio Arts for a Perspectives talk on October 26 from noon to 1 p.m. on Zoom with Studio Arts majors Lucy Eickelberg, Chesney Warden, and Shyann Maragh-Jean-Baptiste.  Each student received a Summer Undergraduate Research Award to conduct independent research during Summer 2023. Lucy Eickelberg researched sites relevant to the Grimm brothers' life and work. Chesney Warden used survey methods to analyze study participants’ perceptions of their work life and translated results into works of art. Shyann Maragh-Jean-Baptiste, focused on self-exploration and identity, mining personal archives to create art with text and collage.
