Claire Miller

Artist Statement:

Originally from New York, Claire Miller is an illustrator and painter studying at the University of Pittsburgh. She enjoys using expressive brushwork and mark-making to explore the figure in drawing and painting. In her work, she often explores ideas of family and nostalgia, using the people in her life as subjects. In her spare time, she loves to weave baskets, play video games, and video call her sister’s cat.
