Becky Slemmons Part-Time Faculty

Through her work, Becky Slemmons searches for truths that are common throughout multiple cultures. While her background in drawing and painting holds a constant place in her practice, she has also followed her ideas into the disciplines of video, performance, fibers, glass and sound. She has shown work in Berlin, Germany; Seoul, Korea; New York City; Portland, OR; Baltimore, MD; Washington, DC and Pittsburgh, PA. Becky was awarded a Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center Collaborative Fellowship Residency and a Heinz endowment to attend Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA). She has served two artist residencies in Germany and one in Estonia and in Ireland, among others.
