Natasha Zeta: (Found)ations

(Found)ations, a solo exhibition of new paintings and photographs by Natasha Zeta

September 3 - October 7, 2018

The University of the Arts is pleased to announce (Found)ations, a solo exhibition of new paintings and photographs by Studio Arts alum Natasha Zeta.

Natasha Zeta was slung from one side of the globe to the other at a young age, forcing her younger self to create and recreate her origin story with increasing complexity.  Focusing on repressed narratives, Zeta redefines the malleability of realism and traditional portraiture in an attempt to capture subverted memories and sensitivities. Zeta’s first solo show features her most recent series of work: a powerful series of investigations into the reconstruction and reconnection of the past in order to overcome the feelings of placelessness.
