2017 Summer Research Award Recipients

Studio Arts majors Casey Connelly and Pearl Galido received Summer Undergraduate Research Awards from the Dietrich School’s Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity (OUR) to support their summer research.

Studio Arts minor Jenny Liu received a Brackenridge Summer Research Fellowship from the University Honors College to support her summer resarch.  This fellowship supports University of Pittsburgh undergraduate students on the Oakland campus who conduct an independent research project under the guidance of a faculty mentor and participate in a weekly seminar in which Fellows present their projects.

Studio Arts majors Aleeza Furman (in collaboration with Kyleen Pickering, Creative Nonfiction Writing major), Gabby Kozlowski, Camille Sturdivant, and Marina Wei are participating in the ACCAC Fellows Program in Creativity and Innovation.  This program recognizes and financially supports undergraduates involved in student-driven projects at each of the ACC member campuses.
