"What We Do" with Theresa Baughman

Artists play an important role in describing the intricacies of human experience. Art is often not only a reflection and critique on our inner selves, but also the world around us. This can be particularly challenging to artists who combine disciplines or have interests outside of their artistic practice. In this talk, artist Theresa Baughman will speak on the importance of finding your voice across disciplines, and the responsibility that art plays as a driving force in the world. Her talk covers the work she most recently completed while on residency in the Arctic Circle among scientists, climate activists, and sailors.
