What We Do & How We Do It with Joslyn Lapinski

Thursday, March 25, 2021 | 12–1pm

Joslyn Lapinski is a major in Psychology, minor in Studio Arts and the Administration of Justice at the University of Pitsburgh.  Joslyn has interned at the Justice Arts Coalition since June 2020, and now serves as the lead of the ArtConnects team. Her primary role is to manage the mail JAC receives from incarcerated artists.  She also works on initiatives such ArtLinks, where JAC invites community members to respond to recent art submissions, as well as collaborations such as open mic nights and presentations at schools.

Through the sharing of stories and resources, and by using the arts as a bridge between people inside and outside of prison, Justice Arts Coalition (JAC) unites teaching artists, arts advocates, currently and formerly incarcerated artists and allies, harnessing the transformative power of the arts to reimagine justice.

All are welcome to join Studio Arts for this event.
