Delanie Jenkins - "Mixed Tape Transpositions"
June 6 - July 19, 2014
Opening Reception: Friday, June 6, 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Mixed Tape Transpositions is a solo exhibition that traces the lineage of Delanie Jenkins' six year investigations using tape from the radish wall installations (the Radix series with tape used as a marking tool) to the Warhol portfolio where one year was spent researching the archival properties of various tapes before creating editioned works. The most recent series uses tape as a matrix for exploring subtle color, directly and through optical mixing.
