Delanie Jenkins - "The Letters of a Language Arranged in Their Customary Order"

In The Letters of a Language Arranged in Their Customary Order, Delanie Jenkins uses a Polaroid-like camera to record the accumulation of gestures the mouth forms/performs when reciting the characters of the English alphabet. Translated digitally and reconfigured, this silent work investigates the base structure and power of language.
