Delanie Jenkins and Scott Turri - "Group A: Celebrating 75 Years"

Exhibition Dates: December 1, 2018 - January 20, 2019
Opening Reception: November 30, 6-9pm

"Group A: Celebrating 75 Years," curated by Vicky A. Clark, includes work by Group A members who work in diverse media.

Originally founded as a form of protest, The Abrstract Group launched in 1944 by artists frustrated by the limited exhibition opportunities for abstract work at the time. The group became on of the founding artist guilds of the Arts and Crafts Center of Pittsburgh (now PCA), changing its name to Group A in 1969 to reflect the diverse working styles of the artists, many of whom were not abstractionists.

Group A's 75th Anniversary will be celebrated throughout 2019 through multiple exhibits at an array of venues.

Please visit the PF/PCA website for addtional information about the exhibition.
