Student Tool Kit
No matter what medium you hope to concentrate in, there are certain tools that all students need to have to successfully complete the requirements of a Studio Arts major or minor. Every class requires that you bring an open mind, a willingness to experiment, and your enthusiasm. An x-acto knife is also a good idea.
Studio courses can be expensive; they all have lab fees and also require further investment in materials and tools. Each course has a materials list that may vary according to instructor, and students are expected to purchase their own supplies, building a tool kit over time. Please check with your instructors before purchasing supplies. A tool kit most likely will include the following.
