Michael Morrill

Michael Morrill, associate professor and department advisor for majors

With a background in sculpture, Michael Morrill has worked primarily as a painter since the mid-1980s. He is interested in the influences of 20th-century abstract art and the impact of digital imaging technologies on the practice of contemporary abstraction in drawing, painting, and printmaking. He received a BFA from Alfred University's School of Art and Design and an MFA from Yale University's School of Art. His work is represented in many corporate and private collections.
