Delanie Jenkins
Delanie Jenkins, associate professor and department chair
Delanie Jenkins earned a BA in art and performance from the University of Texas at Dallas and an MFA in sculpture from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Her work in installation art has origins in a prior career as an architectural designer. Grounded in a collage aesthetic, her works explore language and power, memory and desire, contemplation and obsession, and familial history and self-construction. She has exhibited nationally and currently is preparing for the 2007 Artist of the Year exhibition, a large-scale installation that includes sculpture, print media, and video works to open this fall in Pittsburgh.
