Sean Derry
Sean Derry, part-time instructor
Sean Derry earned his MFA in Studio Art from The Ohio State University and a BA in Art from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Derry has developed site-based projects for Art in Action in New Orleans, Louisiana, The National Institute for Fitness and Sport in Indianapolis, Indiana, and The Waterman Agricultural Center in Columbus, Ohio. His public commission work was included in the Americans for the Arts 2006 Year in Review, and he is currently working on projects in Indiana, Alaska, and the desert Southwest. Sean’s artistic practice investigates sites such as agricultural fields, orchards, and streetscapes as places that both dramatically absorb and transform our actions. Sean has also taught at Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis, Indiana and The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
