Kenneth Batista
Kenneth Batista, associate professor, assistant dean of humanities
Kenneth Batista earned his MFA from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University in Philadelphia and his BFA from the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio. Prior to his appointment at the University of Pittsburgh in May 1978, he taught in the Foundations Program of the Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Mich. Batista has exhibited his work throughout the United States and is represented in public and private collections. In addition to painting, he also produces and hosts a weekly radio program dedicated to traditional music.
